OUR MISSION, TO MAKE THE BEST WINES FROM SPAIN ́S FINEST TERROIRS
With R&G, Rolland (from France) and Galarreta (from Spain) have 5 committed to bringing together the best know-how to produce a range of fine wines. They both believe in Spain’s excellent and diverse terroirs and together have extensive expertise to make great quality wines with real potential in the international markets. Since establishing ARAEX Grands in 1993, Javier Galarreta has applied his vast knowledge in wine and sales strategy to place Spanish wines amongst the greatest.
The R&G project, began in 2010 in Rioja Alavesa, Ribera del Duero and Rueda, spread to Priorat, Montes de Toledo and Jerez in 2014, and contributes to make wines from Spain ́s Finest Terroirs. Today this “terroir driven brand” crafts wines in the top Spanish wine growing regions – Rioja Alavesa, Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Priorat and Jerez.

MICHEL ROLLAND
A B O U T T H E P A R T N E R S H I P
Michel Rolland, a living legend who has been making fine wines since the 1970s in many of the finest regions of the world and in every wine producing continent – has always extolled the potential of Spanish varieties and soils. In fact, he’s even worked in a consultancy capacity in numerous national wineries, but Rolland & Galarreta is the first time that his name has been included on a national label as a partner of the project, together with Javier Galarreta, Spanish entrepreneur, also involved in winemaking process.

But as he says himself, ‘I’d never signed my name to a Spanish wine before’. He’s committed to continue pursuing excellence in Spain’s finest wine regions.
